These Fragile Lilacs is now a paying market! We pay $10 per poem and per image we publish in the electronic journal. The deadline for submissions for Volume IV, Issue II is October 25th, 2020. Submissions received after that deadline will be considered for the next issue.
Guidelines
These Fragile Lilacs Journal is poetry journal that is published biannually. We look for poetry that's tightly constructed and for sharp poetry with strong metaphors, similes, and imagery. We like poetry of any length and genre. After publication, all rights revert back to the author. We also gladly accept artwork and photographs (especially of lilacs). We try to let you know within 2 to 3 months if your work has been accepted.

Submission of 1 poem or image costs $1.
2 poems or images cost $2.00.
3 poems or images cost $2.50
4 poems or images cost $3.00
5 poems or images cost $3.50

In the subject of your email, please indicate you have paid for your submissions. Please do *not* include any attachments for poems; instead, paste the poems you would like to be submitted directly into your email. You may submit up to five poems per submission cycle.
If you would like to submit artwork or photography, you can submit attachments.
Include a short (2 to 3 sentence) biography with your submission.
Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but if your work gets accepted elsewhere, please let us know ASAP. On that note, please do not submit work that has been published elsewhere.

Up to five poems are accepted per submission, and all forms and subjects are encouraged.
